Little ones are always asking questions because there's so much they don't know. But sometimes it doesn't hurt to question what seems obvious. Questions and doubts put a strain on our brain, causing millions of neural connections and exercising it for the development of knowledge. Even an object as recognizable as an apple can trigger our mind and be the origin of an extraordinary digression that, in the case of our protagonist, leads him to wonder "What if it were my great-great-great-grandfather, who has been reincarnated as an apple and has come to visit me?" or "Perhaps everyone is an apple except me."

With phrases beginning with "it could be" or "perhaps it is," a litany of suppositions begins, all with a logical basis, not only about the nature of the object itself, but also about its way of being, its past and future history, even creating an emotional bond between object and subject. Shinsuke Yoshitake, author of It's Stuck (Barbara Fiore, 2018), is a Japanese illustrator famous for his conceptual albums, in which, without straying from the children's universe, he raises philosophical questions or questions about the meaning of life; but always without losing the perspective of humor and overflowing ingenuity.
