These interventions are the only ones that improve symptoms, reduce behavioral problems, promote personal inclusion within both the family and society, and allow for the development of the individual's quality of life to their maximum potential. This Intervention Manual for Autism Spectrum Developmental Disorders aims to help understand the mechanisms and mental processing of autism and presents the foundations and strategies of current treatments, whose effectiveness is internationally recognized. Specialists in each area contribute to each chapter with a theoretical foundation and practical application sheets for therapy sessions and for teachers' work. Nora Grañana is a doctor, pediatric neurologist, Doctor in Psychology with a specialization in applied cognitive neuroscience, and a professor in the Doctorate program at Maimonides University. She is a specialist in pediatric neuropsychology. She works as a pediatric neurologist at Durand Hospital in Buenos Aires and is a professor in charge of the pediatric neuropsychology chair in the Neuropsychology postgraduate program at the Faculty of Psychology, University of Buenos Aires. She also coordinates the PROTECTEA program for Orientation and Awareness of Neurodevelopmental and Autism Spectrum Disorders, under the Ministry of Health of the City of Buenos Aires.
