Max calls his mom every time he wants something. Or when he feels bad. Or when he's sleepy. Or when anything falls on the floor. He calls her shouting with all his might, “MOMMMY!” His mom lives in constant fear, but one day she decides not to respond to his insistent call. To her surprise, she finds that Max is capable of doing things by himself.

Max believes he can fix everything by shouting, “MOMMMY!” But he will soon discover that he can also solve many things on his own.
