There are millions of animal species on our planet! And even more species of plants and fungi in countless different ecosystems. We owe a lot to this diversity that we use on a daily basis in our everyday lives, such as food, clothing, medicines for illnesses, or different energy sources. But large-scale agriculture, overfishing of the seas, or, for example, the extraction of raw materials mean that more and more ecosystems are becoming unstable and more and more species are disappearing.
