Fran Pintadera's text is accompanied by powerful, exquisite illustrations with a loose stroke, made with pencil and watercolor. The sea and fantasy are protagonists of this story, and illustrator Raquel Catalina has captured this in the illustrations of this album.

Weightless has won the prestigious BRAW awards in its Fiction category, granted by the Bologna Children's Book Fair, and the Fundación Cuatrogatos award in 2026. Additionally, it is a finalist for the Todos Tus Libros award, given annually by Spanish bookstores.
